A Cup of Cold Water

On Thursday morning, July 6, my daughter will report for scheduled surgery at 8:45 a.m. Surgery is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m. The doctor will be "scoping" her knee to see if he can repair whatever is damaged and causing her pain. Surgery should last no more than 75 minutes. She will sleep the rest of the day, no doubt. On Friday, she will begin to be awake, probably around noon or so. By Saturday, she should be alert. If you know her, she would appreciate a call or a visit. We were trying to get her room repainted before the surgery. Didn't quite make it, but I will carry on with the project once we get her back home, and hopefully by Saturday afternoon the mission will be accomplished. In the meantime, there are paths through most of our house. You wouldn't want to come by if you can't abide chaos!!
